End Income Discrimination

Imagine being denied service in a cafe because your income is deemed too low. Or made to pay 6 month’s worth of bus fares upfront and provide a guarantor. These barriers echo those encountered by renters on benefits while looking for a home.

We highlighted the ridiculousness of these situations and asked supporters to join our ‘End Income Discrimination’ campaign. Together we made the Government sit up and listen - and finally ommit to making ‘No DSS’ and ‘No children’ policies illegal in the renters reform bill.
